Arrived June 2022 in GrainPro. Another single producer farm, this from Antioquia at 1950 meters. Savory aromas reminiscent of sun dried tomato. Flavors of buttercream. Very unique cup.
Arrived June 2022, first new crop from Guatemala, in Grainpro. Santo Domingo is a genuine Guatemala Antigua coffee grown by a collective a 15 to 20 small area farms, combined and centrally processed by the traditional fully washed method and sun dried as conditions permit. The coffee trees are shade grown Bourbon and Caturra varietals. An excellent value for a top SHB coffee which can be used unblended or as a blend base.
New crop coffee, arrived mid May 2022 in grainpro. Single farm coffee, hand harvested and processed in the southernmost part of Minas Gerais state by a fourth generation coffee producer.
Arrived May 2022, new crop. A solid, Strictly Hard Bean coffee from the steep terrain of Tarrazu. Processed at Coopedota Cooperative, this is coffee with much usage flexibility. Roast it rhough the range from light to dark, use it as a single origin or classy blend component.

Flavors of lemongrass, florals, and black tea backed by slight chocolate flavors. A very perfumey and delicate cup with classic Yirgacheffe notes.

Arrived February 2022. Clean and bright with intense aroma. Snappy acidity and generous sweetness; a nice preparation. Supremo beans are the largest grade, screen 17 and above. These are really all purpose coffees, checking the boxes for single origin, blend component, and, light or dark roasts.

Arrived end of summer as new crop coffee in Grain-Pro but being offered for the first time. A pronounced Natural from fastidious producer who owns his own micro mill, this coffee from another crop year was in the 2018 Cup of Excellence in Costa Rica and took 15th position from a very large field. Flavors of chocolate, citrus, and ripe cherries as well as other berries. Lots of fruit.

Aromas of grape musk, melon and cedar. Flavors of blackcurrant, black cherry, orange/cream. Gentle mouthfeel.
New crop arrived October 2021, in Grainpro. Finca El Socorro won 1st place in the 2020 Guatemala Cup of Excellence for a Geisha coffee but they do an outstanding job with all of the varietals they produce and process. Extremely sweet with lychee, deep flavors, juicy and vibrant. Limited

Arrived October 2021, new crop in Grainpro. The Java variety is beginning to attract producers in several countries. It is a somewhat floral, sweet cupping coffee with reminiscence of mildly floral Geisha.Aromas of honeysuckle and coffee blossom. Flavors of rosewater, honey, and coffee blossom. A delicate and tasty variety comparable to a geisha with a little more body.
Arrived October 2021, new crop, in grainpro. Aromas of coconut and papaya, with flavors of tropical fruit, graham crackers and brown sugar. A clean and refined cup that is delicately sweet and juicy. With lots of body and some perceived light smokiness the coffee has deep flavor and sweetness, common to the Bourbon variety. As with other high grown coffee, there is piquant acidity and Antigua's notable zesty character.

Latest arrival August 2021, new crop in grainpro. A beautiful, direct trade, very high grown microlot. Both grown and milled by Hector Bonilla, who owns the Don Mayo micro mill and has a few of Tarrazu's most prized coffee properties. His coffee, from this same farm, won 1st place in CoE in 2009. His family also won 1st place in this year's 2020 CoE. They are always among the top coffees from Costa Rica. We have been buying this Don Mayo coffee for several years and it has a loyal following.
