Arrived second half July 2020, new crop. Full natural process Pacamara. Intense flavors of brown sugar and dried fruit, with aromas of honey, mango and pineapple.
Arrived June 2020, new crop and in grainpro. This was one of our favorite coffees from a January tour of Ethiopia where many coffees were cupped. Most of the favored washed Guji coffees outranked Yirgacheffes quite noticeably. The Anasora washing station processes both washed and natural, with a keen eye toward detail, which shows in the cup.
Arrived late Fall 2019 and stored in unopened grainpro packaging. Not truly new but first time here and offered at closeout pricing to make room for arriving coffee. A full Natural processed coffee from Guatemala Antigua is something unusual as nearly all coffee from the area is traditionally washed. This is an easy drinking, very sweet cupping Natural that has mild to medium fruit penetration for its form of processing. The farm sits a mile high, centrally in the ancient city of Antigua and boasts one of the only irrigation systems on a coffee farm. We visited this farm some years ago and were very impressed by sheer number of shade trees and its biodiversity. It is refreshing to see this farm, which has been producing coffee since 1842, experimenting with coffee processes and having a successful outcome.
New crop arrived June 2020 in grainpro. From the notable Coopedota cooperative in rugged, high elevation Tarrazu, this all purpose coffee is from area farms. This is a very impressive lot for the price with a combination of nuttiness and sweet baking flavors. Very clean with a silky finish. Solid solo choice for all roast levels or to add clean brightness to blends.

Arrived May 2020, new crop, in grainpro. Repeat of customer favorite and, in our opinion, even better this season. Small 4 hectare farm in Inza Cauca producing seductively clean cup with flavors of bittersweet chocolate and cacao nibs. Sweet, clean but with some savory aspects. Well processed.
Arrived May 2020, new crop in Grainpro - A perennial favorite with a big following.
Arrived May 2020 in grainpro, new crop. AAA grade, largest bean size with 16/17 screen size. We are happy to have secured this as Bolivian coffees are becoming increasingly hard to procure. Heavy aroma, low acidity, milk chocolate sweetness.
Arrived late May 2020, new crop. Clean and bright with intense aroma. Light acidity and generous sweetness; a nice preparation.
Arrived beginning March 2020, new crop and in grainpro. Multi-year award winning coffee had set the international price record in 2006. An excellent coffee with pedigree at an everyday price. Great base for espresso or stand-alone single origin. Lots of depth and character.
Latest arrival May 2020 in grainpro. Always a top selection, this APU is Cenfrocafe's top grade and highest scoring coffee. Fair Trade and OCIA certified organic. An excellent value.
This lovely lot of coffee comes from the TEKA Washing Station in the Kirimiro region in Burundi. It is interesting to note that this specific lot of coffee is made up of cherry from producers with very new plantations. The washing station processes about 950 tons of coffee every year.
We cup a lot of coffee during our normal, rigorous selection process and over the course of the year we see numerous lots of Yrgacheffe. This particular lot really popped out of the rest for its power, cleanliness and especially for an exotic flavor profile that really characterizes Yrgacheffe coffee at its best.
Latest arrival March 2020. A very complex, sophisticated cup profile with flavors of stone fruits and black currant.
The highest rated coffee of all time and the most expensive at auction - $1029 per pound green before import. A sensation Green Tip Geisha from the masterful Lamastus family had an average score of 95.5 points from 20 international judges. Yes, it crazy expensive! But it is terrific and there is not much to go around. A rare offering.
Latest arrival February 2020. This is the second time we are offering coffee from Finca Cedral, in Dota, Tarrazu. The owner of the farm, Roger Urena Hidalgo, also owns the wetmill where the coffee was processed, Santa Teresa 2000. Flavors of fig jam and red apple. A buttery smooth body and lemon acidity. An extremely well balanced cup with acidity and body in ideal proportion. 2000 meter coffee produces concentrated flavors.
