About Colombia Milton Monroy Geisha Natural
Arrived June 2026 in vacuum bags. This is a Direct Import coffee from a first place award producer in Colombia that arrived to us via airfreight. It represents an excellent bargain for Geisha coffee lovers. In the most recent year, demand for Milton Monroy's coffee and his Geisha in particular, is increasing. We cupped and approved this lot on the spot for its quality and value proposition. It's quite floral with the addition of sweet candy and background note of vanilla bean. We have a very limited amount of this coffee.

Cup Characteristics: Delicious, orange and tangerine flavors with notable sweet florals, honeysuckle and tropical fruit. Very fragrant and floral with powerful fruit notes and candy. Flavor notes: rose florals, watermelon, fruit, candy, molasses and rosewater. Complex, vibrant Geisha Natural.
Roasting Notes: We always prefer Geisha coffees to be
on the light side, otherwise their floral character gets diminished,
which is partly the quality that makes them so sought after and
relatively expensive. After first crack drop the heat and try to stretch
out the devopment time, but end the roast before second crack begins.
If the roast is not perfectly even that's ok.
