Cleancaf will keep your home coffeemakers and espresso equipment running optimally, particularly if you have hard or mineral rich water. Periodic cleaning is beneficial to coffee making equipment but the time interval between cleanings can vary widely depending on water conditions.

A box of Cleancaf contains three packets, each enough for one brewer cleaning. Dissolve the contents of a Cleancaf packet in 32 ounces of warm water, pour into the water reservoir, turn on the brewer and run a brew cycle. Repeat the brew cycle two more times using just clean water to remove all traces of the Cleancaf.

While Cleancaf is called a cleaner and descaler, it is best to think of it as a cleaner and preventive maintenance product. If your brewer has already built up scale or mineral deposits which need to be broken down and removed, then Dezcal is the superior product for that job.
