Bodum's classic Chambord French Press is made of Chrome plated brass. As with all plunger pots simply place freshly ground coffee in glass beaker and fill with nearly boiling water. Steep for a few minutes, press down on stem to trap all grounds at bottom and pour. Stainless, re-usable filters. The Chambord adds a stylish touch to your table as you serve. The 34 ounce is the most common size, making about 4 cups of coffee. Bodum calls this an 8 cup brewer but they are using the "standard" 4.25-ounce cup sizes also used as a guide for most drip coffee makers.
