The new chaff tray <u>significantly improves bean visibility<\/u>, enhances airflow for improved cooling, as well as collects chaff better than its predecessor.\u00a0 It greatly reduces the chance of chaff ignition, save for user error.\u00a0 With this tray\u00a0you have an unobstructed view of beans roasting when you look through the roaster&#8217;s door.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"New Behmor low profile chaff tray\" height=\"223\" alt=\"New Behmor low profile chaff tray\" src=\"http:\/\/www.roastmasters.com\/images\/roasters\/behmchaffrear350.jpg\" width=\"320\" border=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p>The other significant change with the latest shipment is there are no longer two sizes of roasting grids.\u00a0 Instead, the grid formerly known as the &#8216;small grid&#8217; is now the standard issue grid.\u00a0 Originally designed with a slightly\u00a0closer grid\u00a0pattern to\u00a0keep\u00a0smaller or\u00a0irregularly sized\u00a0beans from falling out, it became obvious at some point that you could roast anything with this grid.\u00a0 So, the larger spaced grid that used to come with the roasters has been discontinued.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to offer the small grid as a separate item for owners of previous generations of Behmors.\u00a0 Likewise, we now offer the new chaff tray as a separate it for purchase although they are in short supply for the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of November 20th, Behmor 1600 roasters are shipping with a new, improved low profile chaff tray.
