2009 Cup of Excellence Coffees
We have a number of CoE coffees recently purchased that will be here soon including CoE Colombia and Costa Rica. We still have extremely fresh 2008 Cup of Excellence coffees as they were all vacuum packed. Among them is the Nicaragua #2 La Gloria / Limoncillo, a Javanica varietal grown by sister owned adjacent farms. This coffee was much sought after at the auction. We will have more CoE coffees arriving soon.
 Top Panama Coffees
We now have new crop, 2009 Esmeralda from the lot we wanted at their private auction. Pricing for Esmeralda is about double this year and their output was roughly halved. We have last year's Hacienda La Esmeralda at what may now seem like bargain prices. Dramatically reduced crop sizes will be noted all throughout Central America and Colombia, augering for higher prices. Thankfully, quality is high. Panama Elida Estate Reserve, and Panama Carmen Estate coffees are all in stock as well as honey and naturals from Elida, good candidates for single origin espresso. Panamas are among our favorites. Last year's Elida Estate Reserve was a best seller and earned a 95 point Coffee Review rating.
