Hottop upgrade kits are available to convert your older model KN-8828 Analog or KN-8828D Digital roasters to the latest models, just released. The new models can be seen in detail elsewhere on our site - see links page bottom. Both are programmable roasters. The KN-8828B allows the user to modify roasting parameters during a roast and later save that roast for replay; the model retains 3 such programs. The advanced KN-8828P is a profile roasting system. Each roast can have up to 8 segments, fully customizable and 10 programs can be saved.

The body of new and old roasters are the same. Upgrade kits include the main circuit board, control panel and any necessary cables as well as complete instructions. Upgrading takes a couple of hours depending on skill level. Instructions are easy to follow.
