Removing stains from thermal carafe

We love the coffee maker! However, we are having some difficulty removing the coffee stains from the inside of the steel coffee server that came with the KBT-741. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Try a solution of baking soda (the one in the box) and very hot water. Just let it sit overnight. Since just about everyone has a box of baking soda in their fridge it's worth a try and works much of the time. Glad you are enjoying the brewer.

RM responded some days later:

"It worked like a charm! We made a strong solution of baking soda and water and
let it sit in the in the coffee server for three days. It did a perfect job of
cleaning the stains out of the server. The server looked like it was new.
Great suggestion."

We don't think that length of time is needed but overnight should do it.
