I love the experience of roasting and blending. The IRoast2 has provided enough roast for truly fresh taste and enjoyment. The problem was with cleaning the top mesh to allow proper ventilation. The solution was provided by a Lowes employee suggestion - boil the top in baking soda water then gently scrub with a fine wire brush. Problem solved and now the beans are even better.

Any descaling solution works well with a little soaking! Then brush the residue off..... I use left over espresso cleaner after cleaning Ms. Silvia. jim
